What happens when a star dies????

What is a star made of???     Stars are basically huge ball of gases mainly hydrogen and helium. Our nearest star sun is so hot that a  huge amount of hydrogen constantly goes under a star wide nuclear reaction like a hydrogen bomb.                          How does a star dies???      Whaen a star has finished it's hydrogen fuel it expands to become a big red giant this may be millions of kilometers accross.       For example:-if sun will die it may swllosw planets like Mercury and Venus .               What happens when a star dies?? When a star finishes it's all fuel .then the helium starts to convert into carbon, once that happens the carbon converts into oxygen.during this process the star starts to swell and this is what we called a red "giant".  Once the oxygen start to convert into iron it's all finished the star is now breathing it's last breath.as it expels it's outer layer and leaves a density eart
